Ava is regarded as being a victim of the ‘hidden buxom’ trope by Asaga in the Novelization, as her officer’s uniform and cold personality often hides or distracts from her figure. In the original draft of the story, Ava had never met Kayto until the latter stumbled aboard the Sunrider one day and was thrust into the command seat. As of the first Liberation Day beta, Ava still held the title of most voted-for best 'waifu' in the game in spite of her standoffish nature. I just hope we get the option to welcome our new Chigara overlords in the next game for the lols. The 'moral' choices you get to make are pointless, but being able to play at being pro-alliance or pro-independent is fun. Imo, if they want to fix the place, you either drown the population in bombs or foreign aid, and I don't really get the impression that either strategy is viable for various reasons. The planet sounds like a perpetual humanitarian disaster and no amount of good will is going to fix it. If they were a dog, you'd either put them down or stay the hell away from them. Their policy in regards to Ongress is sensible, but the people of Ongress are anything but sensible.
Under those circumstances, you'd think Gray would be playing for time to quietly get his forces in order, but instead he plays at instigating the war when he's not ready. Like the Alliance has nearly every advantage, except being disorganized and not quite on a war footing. If I had one complaint about the Alliance's demeanor it's that they do a lot of stupid self-defeating things. Many of these games are classics in their genre, and there is no doubt that players have been given a lot to play during these times at home.I thought it was fairly well done. Balancing both aspects is necessary to create a successful society, while failing to do so will result in civil war. Careful management of urban planning will improve economic efficiency as players face difficult choices that affect the political climate of the time.
